Challenge
Accenture has recently invested $3 Billion in AI to offer new industry solutions helping companies to drive value. The first Accenture project on this matter was to develop Learn vantage, a comprehensive AI-native learning platform designed to help clients upskill their workforce in technology, data, and AI. This initiative addresses the growing need for AI and tech skills, aiming to help organizations and their employees thrive in the evolving AI economy. Working alongside many teams across Accenture, we developed a learning platform empowered by AI within 8 months, with the aim to close the skills gaps thanks to a learner-first approach reducing the time to proficiency.
Product Management
Define the features core to MVP based on value and current existing capabilities to leverage
(01)
Epics & User Stories
Coming into the project, the team already worked towards creating a product vision supported by a set of defined features, framed during the initial discovery sprint. In order to turn this vision into a product, I broke down the high-level features’ descriptions into 15 epics and user stories tailored to 6 distinct user groups compiled into a PRD, highlighting risks & requirements.
(02)
Tech Workshops
Accenture already has some technical capabilities to support digital learning that we could leverage to incorporate into the tech architecture of the LearnVantage platform. We ran and facilitated 3 tech workshops to understand the current scope of these capabilities while establishing key requirements & risks across 15 epics.
(03)
Prioritization Framework
To define user stories to be included in the MVP of the platform, I created a straightforward prioritization framework based on complexity and value. These criteria were defined further on a scale from 1 to 4. Value was assessed based on the level of contribution of a user story to deliver the Uvp and being a differentiating factor on the market. The complexity was evaluated, acknowledging the possibility of leveraging existing capabilities or integrating third-party tools. 61 user stories were evaluated using this framework to establish a roadmapping for the product.
(04)
Service Design Blueprint
Once user stories were prioritized, we had to find the most efficient way to convey our vision of the MVP product to stakeholders and the tech team. Serving as a single source of truth, the service design blueprint compiles user stories & thrid party tools for integration for each 15 steps of the user journey.
Go-to-market Materials
Create a microsite & brand marketing materials to promote Learn Vantage to Accenture’s client's accounts and drive initial sales discussion
(01)
Sales Microsite
The competition on AI services for b2b evolving at high speed, it was urgent for us to bring the Learn vantage service to the market as soon as possible. While the process to create a level 2 page on the main Accenture website for a new education services vertical was a lengthy process, we had to come up with creative solutions to speed up the go-to-market. I created a sales microsite using Readymag within 2 weeks to promote Learn Vantage to Accenture’s clients' accounts and drive initial sales discussion, leading over 3 iterations of page wireframes from information architecture, UX copy & UI design
(02)
Branding
A new branding was developed to reflect the unique value proposition of modern learning made for you, using soft evolutive shapes combined with a minimal look & feel to convey a smart and inspiring personality. Marketing materials were created to promote across chanels the new offering.
Outcomes
Accenture Learn Vantage was launched on the 5th of March. The company will invest $1 billion in Accenture LearnVantage over three years and has agreed to acquire Udacity to build on and scale.
