Challenge
Augmented provides a smart safety glasses solution enabling enterprises and their workers to work faster, safer and smarter. While having spent years in R&D, Augmented lacked targeted use cases and the industry their solution could serve. They needed a partner to take their solution to the market with a roadmap of sectors for early adoption. Besides, the company needed help creating a pitch deck & investment case to raise their next round of external funding and creating a partnership with an alpha community of B2B customers.
Product Market Fit
Identifying a targeted sector with high desirability towards smart connected glasses to build an Alpha Community to develop an early-stage concept into an MVP
(01)
SMEs explorative interviews
Rather than exploring all use cases, Augmented could cater for, we primarily stemmed sectors to prioritize based on our connections within Accenture's network. We identified 6 different sectors Augmented could target to build an Alpha Community and created use cases & user journeys accordingly to illustrate how smart connected glasses could serve workers in these industries.
We then used 1:1 interviews with experts to evaluate the desirability of the concept and drive user insights, identify key needs and refine our use cases & user journeys.

Smoke Testing
We engaged with a selection of Accenture’s CALs to test our pitch deck and evaluate with
experts the desirability of Augmented concept across 6 different sectors. We prioritized sectors getting the most traction and identified construction managers & mining workers being the core target audiences for an initial launch, where the demand & interest were high while being underserved by current competitors.
UI/UX Design
Speeding up a product demo launch by collaboratively defining the user experience with the hardware team
Augmented had already assembled a series of partners to bring its solution to life, with TTP as the engineering team in charge of developing the hardware and exploring the user experience. I worked closely with their team to create a proof of concept of the safety glasses’ core features, taking into account the device's technical limitations.
Based on our user & competitor research, we shortlisted the top 10 features based on how “cross-functional” they are across industries, being core to delivering the value promise across sectors of Augmented.
I created 4 user flows illustrating the prioritized use cases across different industries and developed the user experience around the interactions of workers with Augmented glasses. The UI was used to create a demo displayed on the product’s prototype during salons & events with potential investors.
Go-to-market Strategy
Driving leads for the Alpha partnership program by establishing connections with clients & positioning Augmented to enforce its presence against competitors
(01)
Investors Pitch Deck
We created a pitch deck that Augmented can bring to investors and drive leads for its next funding round. Developing impactful storytelling combined with a solid structure and differentiating branding was key to cutting the noise in the market & driving the interest of investors & partners. In a condensed format, we highlighted the unfair advantage, the commercial opportunity, the solution’s benefits and the next steps needed to build the business to create a memorable pitch deck.
We pitched an Alpha partnership & investment program to 17+ clients from our network and secured an engagement with Petronas, thanks to our promises to develop hands in hands a product tailored to their needs.

Branding Go-to-market Strategy
I conducted a thorough analysis of competitors' branding and positioning to craft a distinct strategy for Augmented. Positioning Augmented as a business advisor led to a complete rework of their brand messaging and visual identity, aligning with the new brand’s personality.
To strengthen its market presence and compete with established brands, I recommended shifting from an endorsed brand structure (ARiwear by Augmented) to a unified master brand. This approach ensured consistency in visual language and tone of voice across all products, enhancing brand recognition and searchability.
Outcomes
17 Accenture Clients engaged & 1 established a partnership with Petronas for the pilot launch, and kicked off conversations with potential investors
